Murano glass beads are handmade on the Island of Murano in Italy.Murano glass beads are very distinctive colorful, elegant beads.Once the beads shape has been formed it is left to naturally cool in ashes for 24 hours then dipped into acid to dissolve the copper wire. The end results are extraordinary glass beads that are world famous for their beauty and clarity! Please note Murano glass beads are hand made which means that no two beads are the same, therefore beads may vary slightly in size, have irregular holes on both ends and may have sharp edges that need carefully removing.
